Last updated: October 2026

Our Commitment

At GetCareStaff, we believe that excellent care is supported by a workforce in which people are respected, valued and given fair access to opportunity.

GetCareStaff is committed to promoting equality, diversity, inclusion, dignity and respect throughout our organisation and Platform.

We seek to create an environment in which discrimination, harassment, bullying and victimisation are not tolerated.

Equality of Opportunity

GetCareStaff is committed to ensuring that individuals are treated fairly and that decisions are based upon legitimate, relevant and objective considerations.

We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination because of:

  • age;
  • disability;
  • gender reassignment;
  • marriage or civil partnership;
  • pregnancy or maternity;
  • race, including colour, nationality and ethnic or national origin;
  • religion or belief;
  • sex; or
  • sexual orientation.

We also seek to foster an inclusive culture in which individuals from different backgrounds, experiences and circumstances are treated with dignity and respect.

Recruitment and Working Opportunities

Employment and engagement decisions should be made according to legitimate requirements such as qualifications, skills, competence, experience and suitability for the relevant role.

Care organisations using GetCareStaff are expected to make staffing decisions fairly, lawfully and objectively.

GetCareStaff does not support discriminatory job advertisements, requirements or selection practices through its Platform.

Diversity in Care

The care sector serves people from an enormous range of backgrounds and communities.

We believe a diverse care workforce can contribute to a stronger, more understanding and responsive care environment.

GetCareStaff therefore seeks to remove unnecessary barriers to opportunity while maintaining appropriate professional, safeguarding, qualification and competency standards.

Disability and Accessibility

We recognise the importance of accessibility and reasonable adjustments.

Where applicable, we encourage individuals to contact us where an adjustment may reasonably assist them in accessing our services, recruitment processes or working environment.

We will consider reasonable adjustments in accordance with applicable law.

Dignity and Respect

Everyone interacting through GetCareStaff should be treated professionally and respectfully.

Harassment, bullying, victimisation, threatening behaviour and discriminatory conduct are inconsistent with our values and may result in appropriate action, including restriction or removal from the Platform where justified.

Responsibilities of Care Organisations

Care homes and other organisations using GetCareStaff remain responsible for complying with their own legal obligations relating to equality, employment, engagement and the treatment of workers and service users.

We expect organisations using our Platform to share our commitment to fair treatment and dignity.

Raising Concerns

Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discriminatory or inappropriate conduct connected with GetCareStaff is encouraged to raise the matter with us.

Concerns will be considered seriously and handled as appropriately and confidentially as reasonably possible.
