Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Financial Year 2026

Introduction

GetCareStaff is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly and to supporting the prevention of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation.

GetCareStaff is a product operated by Telyton Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16603759.

This statement describes our approach to identifying and reducing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and business relationships.

Our Business

GetCareStaff operates a technology platform connecting independent care professionals with care homes and other care organisations seeking staffing support.

The nature of the care and staffing sectors means that responsible recruitment, fair treatment and protection against exploitation are particularly important.

We recognise that labour-intensive sectors can present risks relating to exploitation, unlawful recruitment practices, coercion, withholding of documents, forced labour and other forms of modern slavery.

Our Position

GetCareStaff has zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation within our business or knowingly within organisations and suppliers with whom we work.

No commercial objective justifies exploitation or abuse.

Our Approach

Our approach includes, where appropriate:

  • verification of identity and right-to-work documentation;
  • maintaining appropriate Carer compliance records;
  • transparent information regarding Platform opportunities and applicable rates;
  • direct Platform records of shifts and engagements;
  • maintaining appropriate payment and transaction records;
  • encouraging concerns to be reported;
  • investigating credible allegations of exploitation or unlawful conduct; and
  • reviewing business relationships where serious compliance concerns arise.

Recruitment and Carer Engagement

Carers using GetCareStaff must provide relevant identity, professional and right-to-work information as required by the Platform.

We do not support practices involving:

  • forced or compulsory labour;
  • trafficking;
  • unlawful recruitment fees;
  • coercion;
  • retention of identity documents as a means of control;
  • threats or intimidation;
  • debt bondage;
  • withholding lawful payments as a means of coercion; or
  • exploitation of vulnerable individuals.

Suppliers and Business Partners

We expect organisations with whom we conduct business to comply with applicable employment, labour, human-rights and modern-slavery legislation.

Where appropriate and proportionate to the relationship and level of risk, GetCareStaff may undertake due diligence or seek assurances regarding a supplier’s practices.

Serious concerns may result in investigation, escalation, suspension or termination of the relevant relationship.

Care Organisations

Care homes and other organisations accessing professionals through GetCareStaff are expected to maintain appropriate working environments and comply with applicable legal obligations.

GetCareStaff reserves the right to investigate concerns relating to exploitation, abuse or unlawful treatment associated with use of the Platform and to take appropriate action where necessary.

Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone who becomes aware of suspected modern slavery, human trafficking or exploitation associated with GetCareStaff to report the matter.

Concerns may be raised through:

Email: support@tendocare.co.uk

Where appropriate, matters may be referred to relevant authorities.

Individuals should contact the emergency services where there is an immediate threat to life or safety.

Governance and Review

GetCareStaff will continue to review its approach as the Platform, workforce, supplier network and customer base develop.

Our aim is to ensure that appropriate safeguards evolve alongside the business and that modern-slavery risks are considered within relevant procurement, compliance and operational decisions.
